Unravel the Enigmas: Embark on Wuthering Waves' Epic Adventure

This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. This quest, while less grand than the main storyline, offers a charming glimpse into life outside Ragunna City and provides valuable rewards.

The Last Knight is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline ("What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main questline before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked until Chapter 2, Act 3.

Starting the Quest

Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker.

The Night Reveries

This involves participating in a performance honoring a legendary knight. You must defeat the Mad Knight, who only appears at night (18:00 to 06:00). Find him at the town's central pool. The Mad Knight isn't a particularly difficult opponent.

Mimic Chests Challenge

After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the highest tower and then to Carlow's location (quest marker). He'll be unconscious near a purple flower. Touching the flower transports you to an area with chests. The first three are genuine; in the next set, only the second chest (middle-left) is real. Open it for Astrites and other rewards, but be prepared to fight the mimic chests that attack afterward.

Following the Knight's Trail

This involves visiting locations associated with the legendary knight, following quest markers and speaking to NPCs.

After speaking with Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent to a unique Chop Chop with invulnerable Leftless and Rightless. Using a Questless Knight Echo is recommended to parry and stun the Chop Chop effectively. Mr. Millkeeper reveals the "legendary knight" was a fabrication.

Finding Carlow

Return to Egla Town during the day. Find Carlow in a town plaza, where he's being mocked by knights. He challenges one to a duel, rejecting the fantasy and embracing the true meaning of protection. The quest concludes after this challenge, rewarding you with Union XP, Astrites, and resources.
