Sega joins the account system trend with its new Sega Account service, promising numerous benefits. As stated on the official website, the service aims to "maximize SEGA's online services and offers a ton of benefits."

Users gain access to the latest news, upcoming events, and promotions for Sega and Atlus games. Exclusive bonuses are also provided, along with cross-platform account linking for streamlined game tracking. Future updates will include game history tracking.

To celebrate the launch, players creating a Sega Account and linking compatible Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii accounts (Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox) before March 7th receive a free Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit DLC code. This code, available from February 17th, allows players to dress Goro Majima in Kiryu's iconic suit, redeemable in-game from February 28th.
