Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles Unveils Unveils Its New Character
Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising new playable character: Jar Jar Binks. This addition to the already diverse roster of playable characters was revealed in a recent trailer showcasing Jar Jar wielding a large staff.
The 2000 original featured characters and locations from Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. This updated version aims to recapture that nostalgia while adding new content. Besides customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support, several new playable characters are included, with Jar Jar Binks being the latest reveal.
The trailer depicts Jar Jar engaging enemies with his staff and using his characteristically chaotic voice lines. While some fans might have hoped for a more unconventional portrayal, his gameplay remains true to the character's clumsy nature. Jar Jar Binks will be available when Jedi Power Battles launches on January 23rd; pre-orders are currently open.
