Spring Hunt 2025 Update Released for Monster Hunter Now!

As part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now is set to launch an exciting paid event known as the Spring Hunt 2025. This special event will take place online and is scheduled to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. The highlight of this update is the spotlight on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 is an exclusive event where participants can purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket grants access to uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, focusing solely on Chameleos. This means no waiting periods between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Additionally, players can earn bonus Chameleos-themed layered gear, adding a unique flair to their avatars.

The event also features Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be available during the Spring Hunt event. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, from May 19th to May 25th, players can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for various rewards, including a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing the gaming experience.

Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?

Chameleos is renowned for its stealth abilities and its ability to emit a mysterious fog that impairs visibility. Starting on May 24th, 2025, players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to challenge this elusive creature. Players ranked 100 or above can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, which begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. To maximize your chances, equip weapons and gear effective against Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements, as Chameleos is particularly vulnerable to these.

Successfully defeating Chameleos allows players to forge the new Mizuha Set armor, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill halves the duration of poison and venom effects on the player while increasing the ease of poisoning enemies. The range of weapons craftable from Chameleos materials is extensive, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. To prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025, players can download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and gear up for this thrilling event.
