Back in January, Bluepoch Games teased us with an exciting upcoming collaboration, and now they've revealed more thrilling details about the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover. This event promises to bring the legendary Ezio Auditore da Firenze into the game as a playable character, blending the worlds of these two iconic franchises.

In partnership with Ubisoft, the crossover will spotlight two fan-favorite Assassin’s Creed titles: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. The initial teaser showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo illuminating the distance, setting the stage for an epic adventure.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full details are now public, and the crossover is slated to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond featuring Ezio, the collaboration promises an array of exciting content.

The event is structured into two distinct phases, each with its unique Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. In Phase I, players will immerse themselves in the world of Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering mysterious clues.

Phase II transports everyone to ancient Greece, specifically the setting of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize the familiar events and environments as Vertin and her companions embark on their time-traveling quest.

It’s a Special Crossover

This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that every player can enjoy the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. You take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to the mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. Following the storms, entire eras seem to vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to traverse different time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by the temporal shifts.
