Get ready for an exciting new event in Pokémon GO—the Beloved Buddies event is set to launch soon, featuring surprise debuts, bonuses, and raids. This event focuses on strengthening your bonds with your Pokémon and introduces the Sea Creeper Pokémon, Dhelmise, to the game for the very first time. You'll have the chance to add Dhelmise to your collection and take on the challenge of battling it in raids.

When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars! The Beloved Buddies event is scheduled to run from February 11th to February 15th. During this period, you can look forward to some fantastic bonuses. Catching Pokémon will earn you double XP, and Lure Modules will last an entire hour, attracting a variety of Pokémon such as Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these will also reward you with an extra 500 Stardust per catch.

The event will also see an increased appearance of certain wild Pokémon. Keep an eye out for Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce, which will be more common during this time. Other Pokémon you can expect to encounter more frequently include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.

Raids during the Beloved Buddies event will offer a range of challenges. One-star raids will feature Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp having an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids will include Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise. For those looking for a bigger challenge, five-star raids will feature Enamorus in its Incarnate Forme, while Mega Raids will bring in the formidable Mega Tyranitar.
