PlayStation's Spider-Man 2 Suit Arrives in Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is joining the game as a new skin!
PlayStation made the announcement on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter.
This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider emblem sets it apart. This collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a pleasant surprise. The Advanced Suit 2.0 will swing into the in-game store on January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit stands out. Its connection to the immensely popular PlayStation series, and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (having voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and in Marvel Rivals), ensures a familiar and authentic experience for players.
NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 adds another exciting element to the game, especially following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving soon. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.
While we eagerly await the new Spider-Man suit, explore the custom skins players have created, the Season 1 balance changes, and how some players are using the Invisible Woman's abilities to detect suspected bots.
