Pikmin Bloom Journey 2025 Expands with Live and Virtual Events

• Pikmin Bloom is bringing its Journey event back for another round
• Fans can join a live event in Sendai from September 20th to 21st
• A global online version will also run from September 26th to 28th for remote participation

Live events have become a key feature of Niantic's AR games. In the post-pandemic era, they encourage players to get outside, enjoy fresh air, and engage with titles like Pokémon Go and Pikmin Bloom. The Pikmin Bloom Journey event has been so well-received that it's making a comeback in 2025.

The Pikmin Bloom 2025 Journey event will unfold in stages. It kicks off with an in-person gathering in Japan. If you're in or near Sendai between September 20th and 21st, you can experience it firsthand.

Don't worry if you can't make it to Japan, though. A week later, from September 26th to 28th, the Pikmin Bloom Journey: Challenge Everywhere event launches globally. This online version offers most of the same rewards as the Sendai event, with the flexibility to play from anywhere in the world.

So, what rewards can players expect? By participating, you'll have a chance to earn a special Rosette Decor Pikmin commemorating the Challenge Anywhere event. You'll also receive an exclusive in-game hoodie for your avatar, along with your choice of one out of seven stylish sun visor designs.

To unlock these items and access the event's special missions, you'll need to purchase a ticket. Completing the missions will grant you the rewards, perfect for showcasing your involvement in this global celebration.
