Persona Job Listing Crop Up Amid Persona 6 Speculations
Atlus's recent job postings hint at a new Persona game, fueling Persona 6 speculation. The company is actively recruiting for a Producer (Persona Team), requiring AAA game and IP experience to manage the franchise. Additional roles, including 2D character designer, UI designer, and scenario planner, were also advertised, though not explicitly linked to the Persona team.
This follows comments from director Kazuhisa Wada about future Persona entries. While no official Persona 6 announcement exists, the recruitment drive strongly suggests Atlus is preparing a major new title.
It's been almost eight years since Persona 5. Numerous spin-offs, remakes, and ports have bridged the gap, but a new mainline entry remains elusive. Rumors, including speculation from 2019 suggesting concurrent development with titles like P5 Tactica and P3R, have persisted. P3R's success (over one million copies sold in its first week) further strengthens the franchise's momentum. A 2025 or 2026 release window for Persona 6 has been suggested, although this is unconfirmed. An official announcement is anticipated soon.
