Peglin 1.0 Launches on iOS, Android, Steam Post-Switch

During yesterday's Nintendo Indie World Partner Direct showcase, Red Nexus Games' roguelike pachinko hybrid Peglin (Free) made its surprise Switch debut and launch. The game also quietly reached its 1.0 milestone on Steam simultaneously. After picking up the Switch version (our full review coming soon), I've learned Peglin has now achieved its official 1.0 release across iOS and Android as well. This major update includes the complete Cruciball difficulty levels (17-20), a brand-new forest miniboss, an additional rare Roundrel relic, comprehensive balance tweaks, gameplay refinements to dull pegs, bestiary research rate adjustments, and more. View the complete 1.0 patch notes on the game's Steam news page.

Despite reaching this 1.0 milestone, the developers plan to continue supporting Peglin with future content updates. If you're eager to dive in, you can read my iOS review from last year's launch, or explore my interview with Red Nexus Games discussing the project's development and business model. The mobile version operates as a free-to-try experience - available now on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), where it earned our Game of the Week honors at launch. The game is also obtainable on Steam and Switch. Join the conversation in our forum thread to share your thoughts on this substantial update. Have you experienced Peglin on mobile or PC?
