How To Get Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Sleep
This winter, Pokémon Sleep is hosting a holiday event featuring two adorable new Pokémon: Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix! Joining them is Eevee in a festive Santa hat. This exciting event offers increased chances to add these Pokémon to your collection.
Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Arrival in Pokémon Sleep
The holiday Dream Shard Research event, running the week of December 23rd, 2024, marks the debut of Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix. Expect bonus rewards and heightened encounter rates for these newcomers. Shiny versions will also be available.
Catching Pawmi
Pawmi appears starting December 23rd at 3 PM on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. The event boosts your chances of finding it. Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot are all Snoozing-type Pokémon. Achieving a Snoozing sleep type (a light sleep, more common than Dozing) significantly increases your encounter rate. A Balanced sleep type also offers a chance, though lower.
Catching Alolan Vulpix
Alolan Vulpix, also appearing December 23rd at 3 PM, is rarer. It's found only on Snowdrop Tundra. Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails are Slumbering-type Pokémon, requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep for optimal encounter chances. A Balanced sleep type may also yield results, but less frequently.
Best Island for the Holiday Event
For the best chance at both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, head to Snowdrop Tundra. However, be aware that this island often has high team requirements, so prepare your team accordingly.
Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
