Nintendo confirms Switch 2 event via email

Reports confirm that Nintendo began distributing confirmation emails on January 27, 2025, to attendees selected for their global Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events. Excited fans shared their confirmation emails on Twitter (X).

Registration, open from January 17th to 26th, 2025, following the Switch 2 trailer release, required a free Nintendo Account. Nintendo's website detailed registration rules and attendee guidelines. Those not selected received emails with information about a waitlist opening January 29th, 2025, at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 1 PM PT.

Hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events, starting April 4th, offer hands-on gameplay with the upcoming console. Locations include:
