Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Lands Soon!
Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for its exciting Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has unveiled a wealth of new content, including fresh challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and new monsters to hunt.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the official start of Season 5, players can look forward to the early arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When the season kicks off, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the roster, offering new battles to test your skills.
Weapon balance adjustments are on the horizon, designed to enhance the viability and enjoyment of each weapon type. The Sword & Shield will see a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combat sequences.
The Guard skill is also receiving a substantial upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but with the new changes, higher skill levels will now significantly reduce damage taken when blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be available in the full patch notes released on March 6th.
And There Is More!
For those struggling with inventory management, Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item. This expansion adds an additional 250 slots, helping you keep your gear organized and ready for action.
As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for a variety of rewards. Expect to find items like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards available for trade.
