Merrill acknowledged the significant time commitment this MMO demands, highlighting his personal passion for the genre as a key ingredient for its potential success. He also emphasized the strong desire among League of Legends players for deeper immersion within the established universe.
While details remain scarce, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction remains uncertain.
It's important to remember that another League of Legends title is in the works – 2XKO, a fighting game eagerly anticipated by fans. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO boasts trailers and a projected release before year's end.
