Metaphor: ReFantazio Outmaneuvers Faithwight Magileto
Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio
Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter requires strategic preparation and a bit of luck to overcome.
Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses and Abilities
This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic attacks (single-target and AoE), the potent Megidolaon (AoE), and passive buffs amplifying these elemental damages. The Magileto also utilizes Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon skeletal minions.
These minions boast powerful slashing attacks, dark magic, and access to a high-powered healing spell, capable of rapidly restoring the Magileto's health. Fortunately, they share a weakness to Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory
Even at level 50, this battle is incredibly tough. Preparation is key:
- Archetype Selection: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to dark and light damage (Warlock, Thief). Skill inheritance of Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype is crucial. The Magic Knight's Dark Dodge and the Healer's Light Dodge are highly recommended.
- Skill Focus: Maximize Strength-based Archetypes if possible. Equip party-wide healing spells on at least two members and ensure everyone possesses a Strike attack to generate Press Turn icons.
- Additional Skills: Tetrabreak is essential to counter Tetrakarn used by summoned enemies. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs.
- Combat Tactics: Prioritize eliminating summoned minions swiftly to prevent healing. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn. Dark and Light Dodge skills mitigate the Magileto's most dangerous attacks. However, consecutive Megidolaons are difficult to survive even with perfect preparation.
This fight involves an element of chance. The key is to minimize damage, maximize Press Turns through Strike attacks, and swiftly eliminate summoned allies before they can heal the Magileto. A well-equipped and strategically sound party significantly improves your chances of success.
