Marvel Rivals Adding Skin Based on Spider-Man 2 Game
Marvel Rivals Unveils New Spider-Man 2 Skin
Get ready, Marvel Rivals fans! A brand-new skin based on the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is swinging into the game on January 30th, coinciding with the PC launch of the acclaimed PlayStation title. This exciting addition comes as a surprise announcement from NetEase Games.
The Advanced Suit 2.0, featuring the classic red and blue design accented by a large, iconic white spider emblem, is sure to be a popular addition. However, the price remains a point of speculation amongst players, with concerns that it might match the higher cost of previous MCU skins (some legendary bundles cost 2,200 Units, while MCU skins like Spider-Man and Iron Man are priced at 2,600 Units).
This isn't the only skin update coming to Marvel Rivals. Mantis and Doctor Strange skins will also debut on January 17th.
Spider-Man, a five-star Duelist in Marvel Rivals, is known for his high damage output and challenging gameplay. His unique web-slinging abilities allow for quick maneuvering and strategic combat. Currently, a Season 1 Midnight Features quest even encourages players to use Spider-Man to earn rewards.
The announcement generated significant buzz on Twitter, particularly due to Yuri Lowenthal voicing Spider-Man in both Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Marvel Rivals. However, some fans are debating between the Advanced Suit 2.0 and a rumored Lunar New Year Spider-Man skin.
Players looking to bolster their Unit count for this and other upcoming skins can take advantage of the Heroic Journey achievements, offering up to 1,500 Units and skins for Storm and Star-Lord. With a plethora of exciting cosmetics on the horizon, the future of Marvel Rivals looks bright.
