Marvel Rivals' Nintendo Switch 2 Debut: A Real Possibility

The arrival of Marvel Rivals on the Nintendo Switch 2, once considered impossible, now seems increasingly likely. While NetEase previously dismissed a release on the original Switch due to technical limitations, the upcoming console could alter the situation significantly.

At the DICE Summit, producer Weikang Wu confirmed active discussions with Nintendo are underway. The primary challenge? Achieving consistent, high-quality performance on the new hardware. Wu stated:

"The first-generation Switch lacked the processing power needed for our envisioned gameplay experience. However, if the Switch 2 proves capable, we're prepared to bring the game to the platform."

Following the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, major gaming companies are expressing strong support for the platform. Phil Spencer has indicated Xbox's interest in bringing its game library to the system, and Electronic Arts (EA) has also shown its commitment.

Meanwhile, Marvel Rivals is set to expand further, with the addition of two Fantastic Four members anticipated in future updates, promising even more exciting gameplay.
