March 2025 Update: Big Changes Coming to Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is set to revolutionize the gaming experience with a monumental update slated for March 2025. This update addresses long-standing player requests and introduces some of the most significant changes the game has ever seen, with several features set to be discontinued.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

The March 2025 update will eliminate all training times for troops, spells, and siege machines, enabling players to engage in back-to-back attacks without delay. This update will make battles feel more fast-paced and dynamic. Additionally, hero recovery times are being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. These changes will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will retain its eight-battle limit per day.

This significant change is part of Supercell's ongoing effort to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times further empowers players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.

To accommodate these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out as they become obsolete. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

In another groundbreaking move, the March 2025 update introduces the Match Anytime system. When there's a shortage of real bases to attack, players can now engage with snapshot bases. These are saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, while the defender remains unaffected. This system, previously used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now extend to multiplayer battles.

To balance the increased number of battles per session, adjustments to Trophy Curves will reduce the number of trophies earned from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
