Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Drops From Life is Strange Team

French developer Don't Nod (creators of Life is Strange) has launched the opening chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can now experience Tape 1, with Tape 2 arriving as a free update for all owners on April 15.
Initially announced in 2023, this psychological thriller follows a tight-knit friend group mysteriously separated during the summer of 1995. Nearly three decades later, shadows from that fateful season re-emerge with terrifying consequences nobody anticipated.
Influenced by Stephen King's It, the TV series Yellowjackets, and classic teen horror films, the game expertly weaves nostalgic coming-of-age themes with psychological suspense. The story unfolds across two distinct episodes—Bloom and Rage—with the first installment currently available since its February 18 release.
The concluding chapter, internally referred to as "The Tape," will premiere on April 15 following a slight delay from its original March window to allow for additional polish.
Early reviews are now live, with OpenCritic showing a respectable 74/100 aggregate score for this atmospheric mystery's debut.
