Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in The Witcher Season 5 Set Photos

The iconic White Wolf, Geralt de Rivia, is back for one final adventure in The Witcher Season 5, with production currently in full swing. Fans have been treated to an exciting first look at Liam Hemsworth, who steps into the role previously filled by Henry Cavill, donning the character's signature long blonde hair. These seemingly leaked set photos, available on the fan site Redanian Intelligence, also showcase returning favorites like Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been integral to the series since Cavill's tenure. Hemsworth's casting was announced in October 2022, confirming his role for both Season 4 and the fifth and final season.

The set photos also introduce new characters set to appear in Season 4 and continue into the final season, including the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in Morbius, as Emiel Reigs. These images have sparked speculation among fans that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's "Tower of the Swallow," particularly scenes involving beekeepers and druids. However, with Season 4 still unreleased, the storyline remains open to numerous possibilities, leaving fans eagerly piecing together the narrative clues from these early glimpses.

In addition to Cavill's departure, Kim Bodnia, who portrayed Geralt's mentor and father figure Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts.
