Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await discovery in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day, alerting you to their presence ("A legendary fish is nearby"). Remember, unlocking the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences) is crucial for their appearance. Catching all four in your first year is unlikely, so prioritize unlocking this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, a spring-exclusive, prefers ponds. The large eastern pond near the city is recommended. Windy weather is essential. Focus on small shadows; ignore larger fish. The smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House offers an alternative location.

Summer – Lightning Fish

The Lightning Fish, a summer resident, requires stormy weather. Rivers at the Narrows (west of the city) are prime locations, but explore other rivers as well. Its medium size makes it relatively easy to spot.

Fall – Leaf Fish

The Leaf Fish, found only in autumn, also favors rivers, particularly those along the Eastern Road. Windy weather is a prerequisite. Its small size requires careful observation.

Winter – Snow Fish

The Snow Fish, a winter denizen, appears on snowy days at the beach. Explore the shoreline and the small western island for optimal chances. Its medium size aids in identification.

Utilizing Legendary Fish

Donate your captured Legendary Fish to the Museum. Collecting all four unlocks a reward: Fish Wings. Additional Museum rewards include furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
