KLab Revives Upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Game With New Partner

KLab Inc. provides an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020 and developed in collaboration with Shengqu Games, the project faced setbacks due to partnership issues. Now, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to revive the game.

After overcoming development hurdles, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game is back on track for a global release (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

Unfamiliar with the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga? Created by Hirohiko Araki and debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, this popular series has spawned numerous anime adaptations and films. The series features a surreal world blending reality with supernatural elements and epic battles, encompassing diverse storylines from battling ancient vampires to unraveling interdimensional mysteries.

This isn't JoJo's first venture into gaming. A Super Famicom RPG launched in 1993, followed by various titles including the popular Android games JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
