Alphadia III has officially launched today on Android for global players, marking the eagerly awaited third installment in the renowned Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially debuted in Japan back in October of last year.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set against the backdrop of Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III thrusts players into the climactic phases of the Energi War—a colossal struggle over a mystical life force known as energi. The world is fragmented into three dominant factions: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, all vying for control.

As chaos looms, a clone soldier named Alfonso steps onto the scene. His journey begins when a girl named Tarte brings him the somber news of another clone's death, sparking a pivotal moment that sets the narrative in motion.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

Alphadia III retains the classic turn-based combat system viewed from a side perspective, rendered in nostalgic pixel art. The game introduces several engaging mechanics, including SP Skills that accumulate during battle and can dramatically shift the tide of combat when deployed strategically.

Players can also utilize Arrays, which are tactical formations and strategies that unlock progressively throughout the game, offering varied approaches to combat based on the foes encountered.

A novel feature is the Energi Crock, where players can deposit surplus items gathered during their travels. Over time, this Crock generates Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for valuable equipment or other rewards at in-game shops.

Throughout your adventure, you'll encounter various factions such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval, and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. You'll also come across different energi clone models, with Nordsheim boasting the Berger Series and Schwarzschild deploying the Delta Series.

Beyond the central narrative, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content, and it's optimized for controller use. You can download the full version of the game on the Google Play Store for $7.99. Additionally, a freemium version with ads is available on Android.
