Item Resale Tactics in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pilfering goods offers a tempting shortcut to wealth, but carries risks. Selling stolen items directly is problematic; most merchants refuse such transactions, and possession of stolen goods can lead to arrest. Here's how to navigate this:

The Patient Approach: The simplest method is to stash stolen items in your inventory chest. After approximately one to two in-game weeks, the "stolen" marker will vanish, allowing you to sell them to any merchant NPC without issue. The time required varies based on the item's value; more expensive items take longer.

Perk Up Your Game: Investing in the "Hustler" and "Partner in Crime" perks (found under the Speech skill tree) enables you to sell stolen goods immediately, bypassing the waiting period.

The Fence Option: Early in the game, a fence operates within the Nomads' Camp, providing an alternative outlet for your ill-gotten gains.

Avoiding Arrest: Remember, guards can and will arrest you if they find stolen items during a search. Bribery might be an option, but storing items is safer.
