Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Arrives December 4th

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches December 4th on mobile. This chapter concludes the Penacony storyline before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus.

Final Farewells and New Characters

Version 2.7 brings the Penacony arc to a close, with the crew bidding farewell before their departure to Amphoreus, a destination hinted at by Black Swan. While Himeko gathers intel, the crew reminisces, reconnects with friends, and enjoys a special Grand Theater performance featuring two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.

Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by Wonweek, delivers a final spectacular performance. This 5-star Imaginary character boasts an Ultimate ability focused on energy regeneration, granting "The Beatified" buff to a teammate and their summon.

Fugue, previously known as Tingyun, makes her comeback after the events of Version 1.2. Recovering from a near-fatal encounter, she's now a 5-star Fire character specializing in breaking enemy Toughness with her fiery Ultimate, dealing substantial Fire DMG.

New Features and Events

Version 2.7's warp events feature returning characters General Jing Yuan (first half) and Firefly (second half). A new addition to the Astral Express is the Party Car—a stylish marble bar with a robot bartender.

The "Cosmic Home Décor Guide" event lets players customize their own space within the Astral Express using Express Funds earned through tasks, furnishing a bedroom, bathroom, and more.
