Hearthstone's Next Expansion: The Emerald Dream Coming Soon
The magical yet perilously twisted realm of the Emerald Dream is set to captivate Hearthstone players with its new expansion launching on March 25th. This expansion introduces 145 new cards, featuring innovative mechanics and legendary Wild Gods, promising to reshape the game's landscape.
What’s Happening in This Expansion?
The serene domain of Ysera, the epicenter of all Nature magic, faces a looming threat. Players can choose to either safeguard its pristine beauty or succumb to the ensuing chaos.
The spotlight of the Into the Emerald Dream expansion shines on the new keyword, "Imbue." If you're playing as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll receive the blessings of the World Tree. The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power transforms into a more potent version, uniquely tailored to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card played further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters can harness the Blessing of the Wolf, while other classes outside the chosen six won't benefit from Imbue.
On the flip side, if you're drawn to the darker side of nature, the Old Gods offer a tempting alternative with the "Dark Gifts" keyword. This corruption-laden mechanic is exclusive to Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior players, offering twisted enhancements that synergize with Discover options to unleash nightmare-fueled minions. The Emerald Dream expansion features 10 distinct Dark Gifts, adding a sinister edge to your gameplay.
