Hearthstone Releases Season 8: Trinkets & Travels with New Power-Ups

Hearthstone Battlegrounds ignites Season 8 with a wave of exciting new content! This update introduces a thrilling array of features, heroes, and cards, alongside significant improvements and adjustments sure to delight seasoned players.

A Treasure Trove of Trinkets and a New Hero

Following the Perils in Paradise update, Season 8 ushers in Trinkets – powerful new upgrades. Players can acquire 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with the possibility of collecting duplicates. These coveted items are offered on turns 6 and 9, presenting four choices each time. Trinket availability is cleverly tailored to your hero and current board composition, ensuring diverse options for Elemental, Dragon, Murloc, and other strategies.

The spotlight shines on Marin the Manager, the newest hero. Marin offers a significant advantage: access to an extra Trinket a turn earlier than usual, providing a strategic edge. Minions, Spells, and a Seasonal Event

Season 8 also features a roster shake-up. While 41 minions are rotated out, 22 fan favorites return, accompanied by 27 fresh minions and 2 brand-new Tavern spells. Four compelling new cards join the fray:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding the player with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms a Tier 3 minion into its Golden counterpart.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete event quests to earn 14 reward packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
