Gamescom 2024's Opening Night Live (ONL) promises a spectacular showcase, with host Geoff Keighley confirming both brand-new game reveals and updates on highly anticipated titles. The announcement was made via his X (formerly Twitter) account.

While Gamescom has already hinted at appearances from games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Civilization VII, MARVEL Rivals, Dune: Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the show will also unveil completely unannounced games. The livestream begins August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.

Keighley's X post also highlighted exclusive gameplay for Don't Nod's Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and a fresh game reveal from THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios (creators of Little Nightmares).

Call of Duty fans can expect a major highlight: the first-ever public showing of Black Ops 6's campaign gameplay. Although Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom this year, The Pokémon Company will be a featured presence.
