Free Star-Lord Skin in Marvel Rivals

The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival is here, showering players with free rewards! The star prize of the Fortune & Colors event? A free Star-Lord outfit. Here's how to snag it:

Unlocking the Free Star-Lord Skin in Marvel Rivals' Fortune & Colors Event

This event uses a special in-game currency called Danqing (represented by a paintbrush icon). You earn Danqing by completing challenges in the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode, as well as Quick Play and Competitive matches.

While daily challenges will vary, the event-specific quests remain consistent. Here are the currently available Fortune & Colors quests:

• Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches.
• Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match.

Once you've accumulated enough Danqing, head to the event pass to unlock rewards. The Star-Lord Lion's Mane skin requires 900 Danqing. That sounds like a lot, but with the event running until February 14th, you have plenty of time to earn it!

Trying Out the Star-Lord Skin Without Unlocking It

Don't want to grind for Danqing but still curious about the Star-Lord Lion's Mane skin? The Clash of Dancing Lions mode (think Rocket League, but with superheroes!) features only three playable characters: Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist. Each has a Spring Festival skin, and simply playing the mode lets you try them all!

If Clash of Dancing Lions convinces you to own these skins, consider the Dancing Lions bundle in the in-game store. For approximately $20, you get the Iron Fist Lion's Gaze and Black Widow Lion's Heartbeat skins—a good deal compared to buying them individually.
