Fortnite Revives Classic Gameplay with Reload Mode Launch

Fortnite's new Reload mode brings back classic maps with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Get ready for a nostalgic battle royale experience.

What's in Reload Mode?

In Reload mode, your squad's survival hinges on having at least one member alive. A full squad wipe means game over – no second chances! This high-stakes gameplay applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

The mode features a compact island, eliminating drivable vehicles but overflowing with unvaulted weapons. Expect to find old favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain, and when you're rebooted, you respawn with a common Assault Rifle (plus building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds another layer of intensity, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 as the match progresses. Eliminating enemies reduces this timer.

Elimination and Rewards

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the action intense and resource-driven.

Complete Reload mode intro quests for substantial XP rewards:

• Three quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
• Six quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
• Nine quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
• Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
