What is Gold Rush?

Gold Bars remain a crucial element, allowing players to acquire currency and trade for various items. This season introduces a twist: acquiring gold activates Gold Rush, a significant boost enhancing movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and pickaxe damage against structures. Similar to Boons or Medallions, Gold Rush provides a competitive edge, albeit temporarily. There are several ways to activate this powerful ability.

How to Activate Gold Rush

Unlike other abilities with singular activation methods, Gold Rush offers flexibility. Players can activate it by:

• Submerging in Gold-Infused Water: Several locations across the map feature gold-infused water. A quick dip grants the Gold Rush buff.

• Mining Gold Veins: Gold Veins, the source of Gold Bars, are now scattered throughout the island. Mining these veins also activates Gold Rush. Shiny Shafts, a key location for Fletcher Kane's gold supply, is an excellent place to find them. However, be cautious; Kane's forces are heavily present and will defend their resources.
