As summer approaches, Pokémon Go is ramping up the excitement with the upcoming Pokémon Go Fest 2024 in Jersey City—and the latest reveal is a major one. Fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta are receiving stunning new Crowned Forms, set to launch during the highly anticipated event.

These enhanced forms, Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, will harness the power of exclusive energy types: Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy. Trainers will have the chance to collect these resources in-game to unlock the evolved forms, boosting their combat potential significantly.

Even more impressive? Despite not being eligible for Dynamax or Gigantamax, both Crowned Forms can now participate in Max Battles. Armed with their signature moves—Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash—these Warrior Pokémon pack a serious punch, making them strong contenders in high-level raids and competitive play.

The Pokémon Go Fest events in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris will be the first locations where trainers can encounter Zacian and Zamazenta in five-star raids.
