How to Finish the Joke Quest in Stalker 2's Rookie Village
In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the game is filled with unique NPC encounters that can lead Skif on various quests. One such memorable interaction occurs with Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village. This encounter involves a humorous quest where Lyonchyk asks for Skif's help to deliver a joke to his fellow stalkers, hoping to be welcomed into their circle and forge new friendships.
Players focused solely on main missions might overlook this charming interaction. Here’s a detailed guide on how to find and successfully complete the Joke quest in Stalker 2's Rookie Village.
How to Complete the Joke Quest from Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village
Players can find Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village, situated within the Cordon region of *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. Upon arriving at the center of the village, you'll hear Lyonchyk call out to Skif. He'll attempt to tell Skif a joke but will fumble the delivery.
This leads into his request for help in delivering a joke to a group of stalkers gathered around a bonfire, with the goal of befriending them. By agreeing to assist, you'll start the quest to help Lyonchyk Sprat share his joke with the group, hopefully earning him an invitation to join their circle.
Help Lyonchyk Sprat Tell a Joke
Once the quest is underway, Lyonchyk will instruct Skif to ascend to the attic and await his signal. Turn around from Lyonchyk, and you'll see a ladder leading to the attic of a nearby house, adjacent to the bonfire. Climb up and position yourself on the attic to advance the quest.
You'll be presented with several joke options, each eliciting a different reaction from the audience. Regardless of your choice, Lyonchyk will successfully deliver the joke, and the quest will be marked as completed.
Receiving Reward from Lyonchyk
After the interaction, descend from the attic and return to Lyonchyk Sprat at his original location. He'll express gratitude for your help in joining the stalker circle and reward you with 900 coupons.
However, should you choose not to intervene and allow Lyonchyk to attempt the joke on his own, the quest will fail. Lyonchyk will then flee from the bonfire group and be found crying near a house, blaming Skif for leaving him to face the situation alone.
