Fantasma, Dynabytes\' augmented reality adventure, adds new languages to coincide with Gamescom Latam
Dynabytes' Fantasma: A New AR Multiplayer GPS Adventure
Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game from Dynabytes, recently made a splash at Gamescom Latam. This exciting title, which blends exploration and combat, has just received a significant update.
The update introduces four new languages: Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese—a fitting addition given the Brazilian location of Gamescom Latam. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish language support slated for release in the coming months.
But what exactly is Fantasma? Players hunt and battle mischievous creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in augmented reality, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasma in view while tapping the screen to fire projectiles. Defeated Fantasma are then captured in special bottles.
Fantasma creatures appear based on your real-world location, encouraging exploration. Players can expand their search radius using deployable sensors. The game also features a cooperative mode, allowing players to team up for a more social experience.
Fantasma is available now for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases. Download it today and dive into this unique AR adventure! For fans of the genre, be sure to check out our curated list of the best AR games for iOS.
