What are Luma Eggs?

Initially appearing as Mysterious Eggs, these collectibles are a key part of the Luma Island experience. Incubating them reveals various Luma creatures, each offering unique assistance. The type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of surprise to your discoveries.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are primarily found in two locations: the island's mysterious Ruins and behind Shrine doors secured by offerings. Each Ruin and Shrine within a specific area contains a single Luma Egg.

Ruin exploration requires thorough investigation, with the Luma Egg typically hidden in a final chamber. Shrine doors, however, necessitate Tepid Offering Crystals, scattered throughout each area, often in challenging-to-reach spots. Unlocking the Shrine door with the required offerings reveals the Luma Egg within a reward chest.

Hatching Luma Eggs

To hatch your collected Mysterious Eggs, you'll need a Luma Incubator. Purchase the blueprint from Balthazar's shop (located to the left of the town entrance) for 500 coins. Crafting requires:

After constructing the Luma Incubator, create Luma Life using various island essences. Combine Luma Life with a Mysterious Egg to initiate hatching. Unhatched Luma appear as "Mysterious Creature," revealing their silhouette. After a short wait, your new Luma companion will emerge.

Remember to pet your newly hatched Luma to foster a bond and unlock its helpful abilities on your farm.
