Disco Elysium Mobile Version Launched: ZA/UM Targets TikTok Audience

Following the buzz around their newly announced game, Project C4, ZA/UM has exciting news for fans of *Disco Elysium*—an official mobile version is on the way, and it's exclusive to Android devices. The studio's aim is clear: to extend the reach of this beloved game to new players while offering a convenient, on-the-go option for existing fans. To make this transition smooth, ZA/UM will release the first two chapters of *Disco Elysium* on mobile for free. After enjoying these initial chapters, players can opt to purchase the full game, ensuring an ad-free experience.

ZA/UM emphasized the importance of informed decision-making for potential buyers, stating, "Today’s ZA/UM studio is comprised of both creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP. We take both of those roles very seriously and we believe that is evident in the Disco Elysium mobile experience we are creating."

Studio head Denis Havel shared an ambitious goal for the mobile version, aiming to engage the TikTok audience. "We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment," Havel explained.

Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and screenshots showcasing the game's new features. The mobile version boasts 360-degree scenes designed to immerse players in the world of Revachol, along with brand new audio featuring full voiceover to enhance the character-rich experience.

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium and designed to completely cater to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," tailored for short bursts of play.

*Disco Elysium* is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025.

It's important to note that while the studio name remains the same, the team behind *Disco Elysium* has seen significant changes. Numerous former ZA/UM members have left the studio since the game's release, and some are now working on spiritual successors.
