Cyberpunk Action Game Replaced Delayed to Next Year
Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, after multiple postponements (2023 and 2024), is now projected to launch in 2026.
Sad Cat Studios, the developers behind Replaced, previously attributed the delay to the game's unique development challenges, previously targeting a 2025 release. Despite the setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, driven by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.
First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat has yet to officially address this latest delay, they've maintained communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game showcase earlier this year.
