What are Cursed Objects in Phasmophobia?

Cursed Objects, also known as "Cursed Possessions," are randomly generated items in Phasmophobia, appearing across various maps depending on game mode and settings. Activating them requires locating and interacting with them within the location.

Unlike the standard equipment, Cursed Objects offer strategic advantages, but with significant drawbacks. These "cheats" – like instantly pinpointing the ghost's favorite room or boosting your team – come at a cost. Expect substantial sanity loss, temporary blindness, or unexpected "cursed" hunts. Use them judiciously; sometimes, leaving them untouched is the wiser choice. Note that Cursed Objects won't appear on all difficulty levels or in Challenge Mode.

How Cursed Objects Work in Phasmophobia

Phasmophobia currently features seven Cursed Objects, each with unique abilities and debilitating effects. A common consequence is a drastic sanity drop for the user. Teammates should maintain distance during activation, as a "cursed hunt" is highly probable.

Cursed hunts mirror regular hunts but ignore sanity levels, even immediately following a regular hunt. They also last 20 seconds longer, increasing the difficulty of escape or hiding.

Below is a detailed breakdown of each Cursed Object. This list will be updated with any future additions.
