The Crossplay Dilemma

Disabling crossplay in Black Ops 6 offers a potential advantage: a more level playing field. Console players often prefer to avoid PC players due to the inherent precision advantage of mouse and keyboard controls. Furthermore, the prevalence of cheaters and hackers, even with anti-cheat measures like Ricochet, can be mitigated by limiting matches to players using similar input methods.

However, disabling crossplay significantly shrinks the player pool, leading to longer matchmaking times and potentially poorer connections between players. Finding a match can become considerably more challenging.

How to Disable Crossplay in Black Ops 6

Disabling crossplay is relatively simple. Locate the "Account & Network" settings. Within this menu, you'll find the "Crossplay" and "Crossplay Communications" toggles. Simply switch these settings from "On" to "Off." This can be done from within Black Ops 6, Warzone, or the main Call of Duty menu. Important Considerations
