Cognido: A University Project Turned Thriving Brain-Training Game

Developed by university student David Schreiber, Cognido is a solo-developed multiplayer brain-training game that's already amassed an impressive 40,000 downloads. Offering fast-paced matches against friends and strangers, Cognido presents a diverse range of challenges, progressing from simple math problems to trivia and beyond.

This solo project, reminiscent of successful university projects that defied the odds, has found a substantial audience. While not quite as comforting as the familiar face of Dr. Kawashima, Cognido's squid-like mascot, Nido, represents a unique and engaging experience.

A German-Made Game with Freemium Model

Unlike many university projects, Cognido isn't limited to a single playthrough. It offers both free and premium options. A subscription unlocks the full potential of Cognido, but a free trial allows players to test the waters before committing.

A significant update is on the horizon, introducing a new "Clash" mode for four to six players, adding a competitive layer to the brain-training experience.
