Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination

Civilization VII's launch is imminent, slated for February 11th, with early access for Deluxe and Founders Editions beginning February 6th. The game will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility. A day-one patch is also planned.

Firaxis Games and 2K have declared the game "gold," signifying the completion of primary development and eliminating the risk of further delays. This marks a significant milestone for the acclaimed 4X strategy title.

The first DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in March, split into two releases. The initial launch introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, alongside the new leader Ada Lovelace. Three weeks later, the second part will add Simon Bolivar as a leader and Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.

Further expansion is planned with "Right to Rule," a DLC scheduled for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This expansion promises two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and fresh natural wonders.

March will also see the introduction of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest, enhancing gameplay and strategic depth. Firaxis commits to ongoing improvements and challenges throughout the game's lifecycle.
