Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.

The awards ceremony featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a 49-judge panel. All nominees were playable on the show floor, a noteworthy inclusion of mobile games alongside PC titles, demonstrating the growing significance of mobile gaming.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS' "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known but exceptional games. This win provides further recognition for the game's innovative gameplay.
