The delay comes as a surprise, with the current Battle Pass countdown initially pointing towards a reset on March 20. Nonetheless, anticipation remains high for what Season 3 will bring. Rumors and teasers have long suggested the return of the fan-favorite Verdansk map, expected to make its comeback this spring. Adding to the excitement, a recent pop-up in the Call of Duty shop announced "The Verdansk Collection" set to launch on March 10, likely signaling the iconic map's return.
While we await further details on Season 3 next week, which should align with the launch of "The Verdansk Collection" on the 10th, players can continue enjoying the current Season 2. This season introduced five new multiplayer maps, the return of the beloved Gun Game mode, new weapons and operators, and an engaging Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
