Blue Archive Unveils Exciting Update: New Story, Units, and Game Mode Added!

Nexon has just released a thrilling update for Blue Archive titled "Rowdy and Cheery," packed with exciting new content for fans of RPGs that blend action and strategy. This update is set to keep you engaged for hours on end.

Who Is The Rowdy And Cheery In Blue Archive?

The "Rowdy and Cheery" update introduces a new story arc centered around a chaotic field trip between Gehenna Academy and the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy. You'll follow the adventures of Gehenna students as they journey to Hyakkiyako, while the Festival Operations Department works tirelessly to manage the ensuing chaos. This 10-episode narrative is filled with wild moments, but fear not—completing the chapters will reward you with Pyroxenes and Credit Points.

Alongside the new story, Blue Archive introduces two fresh characters: Tsubaki (Guide) from the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy, who serves as a tour guide during the field trip, and Umika from the Festival Operations Department. Umika is a Mystic-type Striker equipped with a Fireworks Launcher, capable of dealing significant damage to a single enemy. Check out these new characters in action in the trailer below!

There’s Also A New Game Mode!

The update also brings a new game mode called "Final Restriction Release," where you can challenge tough bosses using up to 6 Strikers and 4 Special students per unit. This mode is available until October 21st, and by participating, you can earn valuable items such as Credit Points, Enhancement Stones, and Workbooks, which are essential for the new Talent Unlock growth system.
