Black Ops 6's Camo Challenges: Explained
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool simplifies the often-grueling camo unlock process. Let's explore how it works.
Simplified Camo and Calling Card Tracking in Black Ops 6
The patch notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a system allowing players to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously. A particularly helpful addition is the "Near Completion" notification, highlighting challenges close to completion, even if not actively tracked.
This feature eliminates the need to constantly check the main menu for progress. Players can now monitor their advancement in real-time during matches.

How to Track Your Progress
To track a challenge, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge. Press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. You can then monitor progress during gameplay.
The game intelligently auto-populates the tracker with challenges nearing completion, even if not manually selected. These "near complete" challenges are also viewable in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Improved Camo Unlock Requirements
Season 2 also adjusts camo unlock requirements. Previously, unlocking special camos demanded nine preceding military camos. This has been reduced to five, making the path to mastery camos less arduous. However, two special camos are still needed to earn mastery camos.
This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty in tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, implementing improvements to enhance the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC
