Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a monumental update, dubbed the 'Trans Edition,' from the developers at Mecha Weka. This latest update introduces an array of new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts, enhancing the game's depth and excitement.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' brings three new cruisers to the battlefield: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Alongside these, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, have been added to the game, offering players more strategic options.

Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they now boast new customization options with three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for more personalized gameplay.

In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match the player's colors, adding a visual flair to the competition.

The update also includes extensive balancing changes. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate, which has increased from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health, which has risen from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, ensuring a more balanced gameplay experience.

Visually, Battlecruisers now features underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea itself has been given a new shading effect, and the visual impact of cruiser and ship destructions has been enhanced, making every battle more immersive.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, further enriching the game's narrative.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. Players take control of their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
