Disappointed, the user revealed their plan B: to purchase the game on Xbox.

Alan Wake 2 is unique among Epic Games Store exclusives because Epic Games not only published the horror title but also co-financed its development alongside Remedy. Remedy has stated that the sales of Alan Wake 2 met their business forecasts, and they were pleased with the collaboration. However, Remedy plans to self-publish their future games, which means they will be available on platforms like Steam as well.
