Co Caro - Gomoku - Renju

This app, Caro-Gomoku-Renju-FiveinarowgamewithstrongAI, offers a robust platform for playing several variations of the classic five-in-a-row game against a powerful AI or another player. Currently, it supports four popular rule sets:

• GOMOKU Freestyle: Victory is achieved by the first player to form an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

• CARO (Blocked Rule - Gomoku+): A win requires an unbroken line of five stones that isn't blocked on both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX and OXXXXXO are not winning lines.

• GOMOKU Standard: The first player to create an unbroken line of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. Overlines (lines of six or more stones) do not constitute a win.

• RENJU: To address the inherent first-player advantage in this game, Renju incorporates additional rules restricting Black (the first player, X) from making certain moves:

  • Double Three: Black cannot create two separate lines of three unbroken black stones.
  • Double Four: Black cannot create two separate lines of four unbroken black stones.
  • Overline: Six or more consecutive black stones are prohibited.

The app boasts an exceptionally intelligent AI opponent, allowing you to select difficulty levels ranging from easy to extremely challenging. Alternatively, you can play against a friend.
