Application Description
Explore Padua's eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites and their remarkable frescoes.
Padova Urbs Picta is the official app showcasing Padua's 14th-century frescoes: embark on a journey through time to experience masterpieces by Giotto and other fourteenth-century artists that have established the city as a treasury of art and culture.
Visit the eight UNESCO heritage sites: Giotto's Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of the Eremitani, Palazzo della Ragione, the Chapel of the Carraresi Palace, the Cathedral Baptistery, the Basilica and Monastery of St. Anthony, and the Oratories of St. George and St. Michael.
Each location is presented through 10 content pieces: descriptive texts are paired with reference images. You can choose to read or listen to audio content, with Autoplay mode available. If anything is unclear, refer to the glossary for assistance!
Track your activity completion percentage through the Journal and earn Culture Points. Collect badges, take the Quiz, and discover your medieval Beast while reading a story inspired by Padua’s historical events.
Plan your visit with ease! The app enables direct contact with museum receptionists and access to their web pages. Use the interactive Map and activate Google Maps geolocation to explore these historic sites.
