Zenless Zone Zero: Astra Yao Short Film Released

Zenless Zone Zero shines a spotlight on Astra Yao with a new story focused on her past. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) continues to expand the game's lore, this time delving into the backstory of the popular singer and part-time on-air support.

A new animated short reveals Astra Yao's involvement in a benefit concert held to commemorate a devastating cavernous disaster. The short interweaves this present-day event with flashbacks to pivotal moments in her past, offering players a deeper understanding of her character.

Astra Yao is featured in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5, while Evelyn Chevalier is available in the second.

The 1.5 update also includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. These rewards are automatically sent to in-game mail.

Joining the roster is the powerful new S-rank agent, Astra Yao (Air, Support). Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao is a formidable support agent, capable of restoring ally HP and significantly boosting damage output. Her abilities facilitate more frequent attack chains and quick assists, enabling devastating team attacks.
